Designed to handle the most demanding hydrocarbon liquid applications, the ISOLOK API-PA sampler utilizes a pneumatic actuator to skillfully sample crude oil and oil/water mixes.

The API comes in a variety of styles to meet the wide range of process pressures and viscosities in refineries.

Available in both pneumatic and electric actuator styles, to operate with current plant utilities.

Some API samplers are available with a diamond-like coating to stand up to even the strongest corrosive products.
All API samplers are ATEX rated and complies with API 8.2, ISO 3171 and ASTM D 4177 standards to ensure that your processes and operators remain safe.
Provides a consistent fixed volume to ensure you are receiving the exact amount of sample needed every time.

Temperature

ISOLOK API-PA seals can handle -4 to 500˚F (-20˚ to 260˚C) without degradation.

Pressure

The API-PA sampler with 316 stainless steel can handle up to 1440 PSI (99 bar) at 100˚F (38˚C).
Additional pressure capabilities available with super deluxe stainless steel units - 1500 PSI (103 bar) at 100˚F (38˚C)

Connections

This ISOLOK sampler and the ISOLOK API-PE are both probe-style connections.

Sentry's bulk solid and ISOLOK sampler maintenance schedules depend on the application. However, it is recommended to clean your equipment every 6 months and review cycle counts to determine the average change time of seals. You should also document every failure for a more robust maintenance schedule.

Serial numbers can be found stamped on the product itself, on an adhesive nameplate or on a stainless steel tag.
