Designed to perform a detector tube measurement, the Detector Tube Sampler regulates high-pressure environments to a safe level before inserting the detector tube. This gas sampler’s 1000 cc cylinder and Teflon detector tube fitting ensures that you have access to a fresh sample for full representation each time.

Primarily for sampling H2S, each detector tube sampler comes with high pressure regulators and a pressure gauge to maximize pressure control, confirming you are within a safe range before sampling. By following the instructions written on each gas sampler, you will be assured that a seamless representative sample will be taken every time.

  • Each detector tube sampler comes with a large volume chamber, allowing for ample volume draw.
  • Labeled step by step instructions and valves ensure that minimal training is needed to operate the equipment, reducing the potential for equipment downtime or sampling inaccuracies.
  • Installation is made easier with labeled side process connections.

Materials

  • Sentry's detector tube sampler is made of 316 stainless steel and FKM or FFKM O-Rings.
  • Contact us if you require other body materials.

Pressure

  • The DT sampler is pressure rated for up to 1800 PSI at 100˚ F (124 bar at 38˚ C).

Temperature

  • This sampler is temperature-rated for up to 140˚ F (60˚ C).
  • If temperatures of greater than 140˚ F (60˚ C) are needed, a sample cooler needs to be included.

Additional Capabilities

  • Each sampler is highly customizable. You can customize the system with the following additional add-ons:
    • Pipe stand
    • Enclosures
    • Process isolation valves (inlet and/or return)

  • You can also build a more robust system for H2S analysis by combining the detector tube with the Model C sampler.
